Video Exploitation (VidEx) utilizes machine learning, object tracking and detection. VidEx enables analysts, operators, and staff to perform full-scope video Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (PED).

The challenge

Optimize the current interface and workflow of the current application integrating existing features and functionality. Disrupt to enhance the user experience and decrease cognitive processing time.

Looking Back

This was a fun play on modernizing the current video systems.

This application is constantly iterating, testing and incorporating new requirements to better support the mission to support the Department of Defense and its community

My time at Novetta has been a chapter of great purpose in my career. Novetta challenged me to become a leader, to find my voice and advocate for design beyond the interface. As the first and only UX designer during this time, I’ve elevated the way the division, the customers and developers understand and use design. Design is much more respected and valued because of my contributions. I’ve impacted the lives of many and worked with developers to truly create products that did - and continue to do - good.
